A weekend in pictures

I know its Tuesday. No, I take that back, I actually don't know its Tuesday. I have picked up the phone and said Monday or typed Monday out so many times today it isn't even funny.  Anyhooooo, true to my last post, the parents are in town and hence the lack of blogging. I also did NOT succeed in completing my 365 card challenge. I will try again later in June. * insert sad face here*

So the parents are in town and here is the weekend in pictures:

The weekend was spent in Pomona with the family. The godparents just bought a new house that has amazing mountain views. sidenote: I have a horrible sense of direction. No, I have ZERO sense of direction and here's where the mountains come in useful. If I head toward the mountains I will hit the 210 and if I head away from the mountains I will hit the 10. But this only works in that area...I tried this in another city and yeah...let's leave it at that.

Their first meal request: In-N-Out. Who doesn't like In-N-Out. I've got to take them to Five Guys next and get their feedback on that. If it's good enough for Obama, it's good enough for me. 'nuff said.

Shopping and more shopping. My feet were killing me. Yay for outdoor furniture. Just chilled on the wonderful display sets while waiting for the mom and aunt. My dad on the other hand....went on a hunt for free wi-fi.

Have you been to Trader Joe's recently? Have you tried this awesome-ness called Cookie Butter? Has anyone tried the Cocoa Almond Spread? I'm not a fan of almond but this spread looks like nutella and I'm a nut for nutella---- Feedback please :)

Can't believe the 3 day weekend flew by so fast.  Family time is always a good time. No bbq this memorial day weekend. But we did have ribs though!

Sorry too busy eating, so no picture of ribs but a pic of the mom and the aunt sitting with the bf preparing the ribs :)  Hope your weekend was as good as mine. Can't believe its back to work already. At least, its going to be a short week.
