Take 4 Tuesday: Etsy Cufflinks

Facebook reminded me today that it was a friend's birthday. Since he had been such a sweetie and bought me a gift and attended my birthday shindig I felt it was appropriate to get him something for his birthday. I have always loved shopping for guys because gifts always revolve around the same thing: boxers, shirts, tshirts....yeah that would work if we were still in our teens. But being that said friend is hitting 30 now....I was wrecking my brain to think of something a little more....mature shall we say. And then I remembered that for Father's Day, my cousin had sent my uncle some really cute cufflinks. Cufflinks! what a fantastic idea. So the thus began the search. Etsy probably has a bunch of nice handmade ones and I was right. So let me present you with my four wonderful Etsy finds.



1. Typewriter letters: For the guy who is into the vintage feel and loves anything old school. Also for the guy (who like myself) loves anything to do with their name and initials.

2. camera: I ended up picking this one. Said friend loves photography and I thought that this would look a little more professional being that it is not all colorful and screaming at you. They even have a matching tie tack to go with these cufflinks. They can be found here

3. Ace of Spades: Don't we all know guys who love their poker nights. I thought these were rather cool as well. But not as professional. I do however love the vintage feel these cards have. They also have some that look more modern.

4. Starwars: In every group there's bound to be a star wars fanatic. I think said friend is a star wars fan but I wasn't too sure so I didn't want to chance it. However, if I do confirm that he is one....this might be what hes getting for Christmas! I love how 3d-ish this one is. They also have legoman ones available! aaaaaah so fun!!!!
