:My summer Reads::

Maybe its because work slows down in the Summer....maybe because there are less cars on the road....maybe because the excess vitamin D makes everyone happier but Summer makes me feel alot more carefree and relaxed and makes me want to accomplish stuff.
One of the things on my summer to-do list was to read a book or some books. Not that I can't do that in the Spring or Fall but...I guess with the sun being out longer, it gives me the impression the days are longer and I can actually do more when I get back from work (/ignore how the house traps heat like an oven)

So I have narrowed down my reading list to 3 books and am open to more suggestions if you think one of them sucks and I should read something else

Summer to-do

Not that this might interest anybody other than yours truly. Here is my summer to-do list. Hopefully when Fall hits, I would have completed 75% of the things on it.

1. Read a novel
2. Subscribe to a DIY/Better homes and gardens magazine
3. complete Lumpy and Roo cross-titch
4. Bake a cake (with a theme)
5. Sew a cushion(s)
6. Roadtrip
7. reupholster/upgrade a chair
8. Redesign the wall above the study desk
9. Complete one more ECE class
10. Register for CBEST and CSET
11. Organize the closet
12. Workout and lose shed some pounds
13. Keep writing in this blog

I feel like I shouldn't have stopped at 13 (bad luck!) but I also wanted to really complete EVERYTHING. Oh lofty ambitions.
