365 cards challenge -- KISS

Keep It Simple, Silly!

So here it goes:

365cards challenge: create a Clean & Simple card using only 1/3 of the space provided.  The card size and theme are entirely up to you.

I even pulled out the sewing kit for this. This was sewn by hand people! BY HAND! No machine here....only because It still takes me 12035061 mins to thread that darn thing. 

Only 2 more days to go and I would have completed a week at 365 cards. Not bad for a rookie if I say so myself. 

On another note, my parents come visit tomorrow!  They are here for almost a month, so if I don't post as much. You know why :)

Divide and Conquer

Day four.  I was so tempted to leave this till tomorrow but I pushed on! (If only I could be as determined as this in a diet/workout/insert other health lifestyle options here)

The challenge was to divide the background into 6 parts and decorate each part differently. Here's hoping I did this one right. Following directions is not one of my strong traits.

Can you spot the opposites?

Still going strong, today's challenge (from 365 cards) was to make a card with "Opposites."  I really liked this challenge because it really got me thinking and by thinking I mean: actually writing out a list of opposites  googling a list of opposites. Ok I know I copped out but I was thinking so hard and all I could pull out of my little brain were silly things like big/small...hungry/full (I was doing this around 4pm) sleepy/awake....that kinda stuff so I was like alright Ruth (yes when I talk to myself I call myself Ruth)  I'm just going to let the internet help me out. It came through. I got some good ones.

Well i'm hoping you can. Because if you can't...that just means I have seriously FAILED on my challenge. Yay me. So if you want to play along, leave your answers in the comments. Answers will be posted tomorrow. (Also my sneaky way to see if anyone is reading this lol)

Day 82- Colors of Spring

The challenge for today is to make a card that has a minimum of 5 colors that remind you of spring. Here is the inspiration.

colors used -- pink, yellow, red, green, turquoise and blue! 

wonder if white counts....Daisies are white and they are so "spring!" lol
